Brittany Ann Tranbaugh

Brittany Ann Tranbaugh is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Pennsylvania who is based in Philadelphia and known for blending Americana, folk, country, and folk-rock with witty lyrics, catchy melodies, and emotionally honest storytelling. She began writing songs and performing as a teenager and gained significant recognition when her song “Kiss You” won Song of the Year in the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Her music explores themes of love, identity, queer self-discovery, relationships, and personal growth, balancing humor with vulnerability. After leaving her office job in 2023 to pursue music full-time, she performed hundreds of shows and toured nationally, including opening for singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton. In August 2026, she released her debut full-length album, Lucky Broke Girl, which was funded with support from more than 400 fans. She has continued to gain recognition in the Americana and queer country music scenes, with No Depression naming her a “Queer Country Artist to Watch in 2026.”
